Australia’s Premier Sustainability Showcase

The Off-Grid Living Festival is Australia’s most diverse sustainability event, held annually in Victoria and moving to it's new location in NSW soon (details to be announced in coming months). This immersive weekend combines education and entertainment to inspire people to take practical steps toward sustainable, off-grid living. With a blend of expert talks, hands-on workshops, innovative exhibitor displays, and communal activities, the festival makes eco-living accessible, fun, and genuinely achievable.

Learning, Doing, and Exploring

Spread over ten themed areas the festival offers something for every interest and experience level. Expect over 300 exhibitors, 7 dedicated talk stages, more than 150 free and paid workshops, live music stages, and on-site demonstrations that invite you to roll up your sleeves and learn hands-on. Families are welcome too, with engaging youth programs, creative competitions, survival skill sessions, animal encounters, and family fun for all ages.

Transitioning, Reconnecting, Evolving

First held in Chiltern in 2018 and running through to 2025, the festival has provided thousands with practical skills and connections to the sustainable-living community. After this successful run, organisers announced a break in 2026 with plans to relaunch in a new New South Wales location in 2027—continuing the festival’s mission of spreading sustainable living across Australia.
